Look, life isn’t all Spinach Stuffed Chicken and juice cleanses, and after this week we’ve all earned a treat. A boozy, chocolatey, creamy, vodka and espresso treat: Chocolate White Russians.
There’s simply no good approach to lay it: I’ve had a hell of a week. I packed up everything I own and filled it into my Prius, adding a husband who's 4 inches taller than whomever the Prius was designed for, and NULL cats who hate every other.
There was growling, hissing, and all round discontentment for 7 hours as we drove to Atlanta so as to evacuate Charleston from Hurricane Matthew.
The cats weren’t tremendous completely satisfied either.
Days later, with the large storm within the previous and lots of cleansing up in our future, there was totally nothing I needed extra than a liquor drink at the porch.
Okay, nicely possibly what I actually needed was a hot shower, dinner from my very own kitchen, and to zone out whereas looking tv in air-conditioned glory, but within the absence of power, a white russian at the porch was virtually as good.
I’m telling myself that if the dwelling is so swollen with moisture that the doorways won’t close, it’s okay to permit the calorie counting slide, and bask in a Chocolate White Russian.
Y’all recognise I’m now not a vast chocolate hound, but this Chocolate White Russian is my FAVORITE dessert cocktail of all time. It doesn’t pass loopy with the chocolate, it’s only somewhat punch to jazz up the vintage White Russian recipe a little.
